About ASCS

All Saints Catholic School opened its doors in August 1998. This unified system was created by the parishes of St. Hyacinth, St. John, St. Mary, and St. Wenceslaus.

The creation of All Saints Catholic School strengthens the Catholic presence in the Antigo community. By working together, we can do more than we do separately. Unification reminds us of our responsibility as a faith community to be inclusive so that we may be one in our goals and one in the giving Catholic education a special place in our way of life.

ASCS Grandparents

My husband and I have been members of St. Mary and SS. Mary & Hyacinth Parish all of our married life, and God has blessed us with seven children.  Sending our children to a Catholic elementary school was one of the best decisions we made.  We believe it provided them with a solid foundation in the Catholic faith.  Their faith and prayer life have strongly supported them throughout their lives, something greatly needed in today’s society.    When our oldest son began first grade, no bus transportation was provided for rural children attending a parochial school.  Therefore, we took turns with two neighboring families driving the children to St. Mary Catholic School. We felt that the benefits of a Catholic education far outweighed any sacrifices we made at the time.  We are fortunate that all of our seven children and eighteen grandchildren received a Catholic education.  In addition, three great-grandchildren are currently enrolled at All Saints Catholic School.  The central part of our Catholic faith is the Eucharist.  To this day I enjoy seeing the students of All Saints Catholic School attending mass. The participation in the holy sacrifice of the mass is enhanced by the “buddy system,” whereby the younger students are accompanied during mass by the upper grade students.  As a former teacher in a rural one room school, I understand the importance of the teacher in the classroom.  The greatest asset of ASCS is their hard-working, dedicated teaching staff.  All Saints Catholic School teachers provide students with various extracurricular activities, including an exceptional fine arts program and sports program.  Many ASCS graduates have become leaders in their parishes, occupations, and communities.  We pray that God will continue to bless All Saints Catholic School with many more years of assisting parents in the spiritual and educational development of their children.
